Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal and Senior Superintendent of Police Ashish Tiwari inspected the Moharram procession route. DM Manish Bansal said that the procession will be taken out on the prescribed route and time in a traditional manner. Along with this, in view of the security arrangements, he said that the concerned officers have been put on duty at the identified places. We have visited the prescribed procession routes. All the concerned departments have also been entrusted with the responsibility of successful discharge of responsibilities. He said that the Moharram procession will be conducted in a completely secure and peaceful manner. He appealed to take out the procession in the traditional manner.

Senior Superintendent of Police Ashish Tiwari said that instructions have been given to the police and PAC force to remain deployed during the procession. The prescribed route will also be monitored through CCTV cameras and drones. Similar arrangements have been made on the Kanwad routes. Talks were held with the organisers and they were made aware of the government's instructions. Full cooperation is being received from the organisers in this regard.
