Saharanpur, District Magistrate Saharanpur Manish Bansal and Senior Superintendent of Police Saharanpur Rohit Singh Sajwan conducted a surprise inspection of Tabar village of Tehsil Nakur with a view to mining. During this, he saw the protective measures to stop illegal mining from the route between Pahari of Haryana and Tabar village of the district which was used for illegal mining. He discussed this matter with the SSP. DM Manish Bansal gave instructions and said that miners from other states should not use this route. All arrangements should be made in this regard. Under this, he also saw the security arrangements, pits and iron pillars made on the route. He said in a strict tone that strict action will be taken against those who use this route for illegal mining. No person involved in this will be spared. He asked the concerned officials to keep a constant vigil. He instructed the officials to seize the vehicles involved in illegal mining and take legal action against the vehicle owners. District Magistrate Manish Bansal informed that both the roads coming to the UP border from Pahari via Yamuna track and from Pahari to Mandhour were already closed by digging deep pits. Even before this, the District Magistrate had issued strict instructions to stop illegal mining. He has also deployed PAC along with monitoring through drones in the mining areas. On this occasion, SP Traffic Siddharth Verma, Tehsildar Nakud Jasmendra, concerned officers and employees and villagers were present.
