Jagdalpur, The three-day division level competition under Bastar Olympics 2024 has started from 13 December at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Sports Complex Dharampura and Pandripani (Hockey) in Jagdalpur. In which about 03 thousand players from all seven districts of Bastar division are participating. On Friday, the players showed their strength and displayed their talent excellently in the competition of various events of Bastar Olympics.

2422 players from all seven districts are participating in the division level competition of Bastar Olympics 2024. Apart from this, a total of 2904 players including 300 Nuwa Baat (surrendered Maoist) players and 18 players disabled due to Naxal violence are participating. It is known that Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Sports Complex Dharampura and Khelo India Center Pandaripani have been identified for various events of Bastar Olympics to be held from 13 to 15 December in Jagdalpur. Volleyball, Karate, Weight Lifting, Badminton events are being organized in Indira Priyadarshini Stadium. At the same time, the competition of Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Archery, Athletics and Tug of War is being completed in Sports Complex Dharampura and Hockey match is being held in Khelo India Center Pandaripani. Football match is being held in Indira Priyadarshini Stadium and City Ground. On this occasion, officials of the district administration, nodal officers of all districts, sports officers and sports trainers including officials of sports organizations, players as well as a large number of sports loving dignitaries were present.
