Administered oath and planted trees in the drug de-addiction campaign of Media Organization Madhya Pradesh and Police
Chhindwara (Amarwada), On the orders of Gaya Prasad Soni, State President of Media Organization Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, a drug de-addiction campaign was organized in the police station premises under the joint aegis of the District Unit of Chhindwara and the Amarwada Police Station. As part of the campaign, police and press representatives jointly pledged to build a drug-free society, and all present were sworn in to stay away from drugs and make the society drug-free.
Manesh Sahu, District President of Media Organization Madhya Pradesh, District Chhindwara, and Editor of Sach Ki Aankhen newspaper, was the main attendee at the event. He stated that drug de-addiction is not just a campaign of the police or administration, but of the entire society. A healthy, safe, and developed society can be built only by keeping the youth away from drugs. While giving the message of environmental protection, he also called for planting more trees and taking regular care of them.
During the program, tree plantation was done in the police station premises. All present pledged to protect and regularly care for the planted trees. Speakers emphasized that both drug de-addiction and environmental protection are essential for society's bright future, and that such public welfare campaigns can only succeed through the combined efforts of the police, press, and social organizations.
Present on this occasion were Divisional Media Incharge Surendra Soni, District Media Incharge Santosh Nagesh, Chhindwara City President Anil Rathore, District Media Incharge Rakesh Chandravanshi, Social Media Incharge Maruti Lal Vishwakarma, Amarwara Tehsil President Sagar Srivastava, Amarwara Media Incharge Mohit Sahu, Omprakash Mishra, Tarun Shukla, Amarwara Police Station, officials of the Lokhit Jankalyan Samiti, journalists, and other dignitaries. The program's objective was to spread public awareness, inspire youth to stay away from drugs, and instill a sense of responsibility in people towards environmental protection.
