Bilaspur, District Panchayat General Assembly Meeting was held today under the chairmanship of District Panchayat President Mr. Rajesh Suryavanshi. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Sandeep Kumar Agarwal, public representatives, and district-level officials participated in the meeting. A detailed review of the work of the Agriculture Department, Health Department, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the 16th Finance Commission, and the Public Works Department was conducted.

The Health Department was directed to ensure the availability of essential medicines in all primary health centers, take effective measures to prevent malaria, and submit inspection reports of Gram Panchayats on a timely basis. The Agriculture Department stated that sufficient quantities of fertilizer are available for farmers and that farmers are personally attending to receive fertilizer. Members were also provided with information on eligible and ineligible farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Emphasis was also placed on motivating youth for self-employment in the agricultural sector. The meeting discussed the 16th Finance Commission guidelines in detail. The Public Works Department was informed of the progress of departmental work, and instructions were given to commence construction of the Bhatgaon to Bartori road soon and to issue tenders for the Jhal to Nagpura road soon. Instructions were also given to expedite the completion of the Dhuma to Nagchuwa road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and to install solders on both sides of the road during the construction of the Bitkuli to Karwa road.

Vice-Chairperson Mrs. Lalita Santosh Kashyap, Chairperson Mrs. Anusuiya Kashyap, Chairperson Mrs. Bharti Neeraj Mali, Chairperson Mr. Govind Ram Yadav, Mrs. Ambika Vinod Sahu, Chairperson Mr. Niranjan Singh Paikra, Mr. Shivendra Pratap Kaushik, Mrs. Satkali Bavre, Mr. Rajendra Dhiwar, Mr. Damodar Kant, Mrs. Smriti Trilok Shrivas, Mrs. Rajni, Pintu Markam, Mrs. Jaikumari Prabhu, and other officials were present at the meeting.
