Saharanpur, The work of revival of Sindhli or Khokhari river in Tehsil Nakud was reviewed in the new auditorium located in the Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Bansal. DM Manish Bansal gave strict instructions that the excavation work should be expedited in the marking done as per the records. Complete the marking at the place where it is pending as soon as possible. He said that negligence should not be shown in the direction of their restoration to revive the rivers in the district. He instructed the Sub-District Magistrate to ensure marking as soon as possible as per the records. Expressing displeasure over the low depth and width, he instructed the Block Development Officer that negligence should not be shown in the excavation work as per the records. He warned the Lekhpals and Technical Assistants and said that strict action will be taken if the work is not completed on time. The irrigation department was instructed to visit the spot and continuously supervise the work and give feedback. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Sub-District Magistrate Nakur Mrs. Sangeeta Raghav, PD DRDA Pranay Krishna, DC NRLM Indrapal Singh, Block Development Officer Gangoh Amit Kumar and other concerned officers were present.
