Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal conducted a surprise inspection of Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School and Hostel, Village Tivaya Block Punwarka. He also took information from the girl students about teaching work and sports activities.

During the inspection, he closely inspected the school including the kitchen, dining room, food store room, food items, hostel rooms and obtained information. In the inspection done by DM Manish Bansal, the quality of food items was found to be fine. He said that cleanliness and standards should be taken care of in the food items. Along with this, the validity date on the bottle and packet must be checked. The bedsheets, sheets which are being used in the hostel should be clean. He instructed that special attention should be paid to cleanliness and hygiene in the premises of the school and hostel. In view of the coming cold, he instructed to make proper arrangements for hot water in the hostel in advance. He instructed that the health checkup of the girl students should be done from time to time.
During the inspection, District Basic Education Officer Komal and the teachers and girl students of the school were present.
