District Magistrate expressed displeasure over the poor quality of finishing work

Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal did a surprise inspection of the works under construction for stadium cum playground and 100 seater seating for players in the Government Girls Inter College of the district under the Smart City Project. During the inspection, he expressed displeasure over the poor quality of finishing work and directed the Uttar Pradesh State Construction Corporation Meerut that there should not be any kind of negligence in the work. Along with installing exhaust system in the bathroom and kitchen, proper distance should be kept between the doors as per the standard. No tiles should be broken. Before handing over the building, the concerned firm should remove all the deficiencies otherwise the payment will be cut. Proper distance should be kept between the chairs of the stadium. The emergency exit should be strengthened from the point of view of security. He said that no kind of compromise will be made in the construction work. DM Manish Bansal directed that the ground should be leveled as per the drainage system so that there is no situation of waterlogging. He instructed the Municipal Corporation to take over only after removing all the deficiencies. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Additional Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Yadav, XEN Public Works Department Dharmendra Singh along with concerned officers and contractors were present.
