Damoh, District level prize distribution of Indian Culture Knowledge Examination year 2023 was held today at the local Gayatri Shaktipeeth Damoh under the chief hospitality of District Education Officer Sunil Nema and under the chairmanship of Gurunanak Education Society Vice President Gurjit Singh Bagga. Dr. Vijaylal as special guest. Principal of Smriti Mahavidyalaya was Dr. Vandana Charan and Professor of Mathematics Department of Gyanchandra Srivastava Government Post Graduate College was Dr. Kamal Kori.

The program started with lighting of the lamp, after which the guests were welcomed with garlands. Teachers doing excellent work were also honored from the stage on this occasion.

District Coordinator BP Garg said in his report that this year 20,700 students including schools and colleges across the district had participated in this examination on October 7, 2023, in which the candidates getting the best marks at the district level and tehsil level will be given special certificates. Along with this, cash amount is also given as a reward.

Principal Dr. Vandana Charan, while appreciating the efforts of Gayatri Parivar to inculcate the students, said that it is necessary to make the students sit for this examination to remove the lack of values among the students.

Dr. Kamal Kori said that it is difficult to teach discipline to the students in colleges, but if the students appearing in this examination being conducted in schools come to the college, then they can be identified separately.

Chief guest Sunil Nema told about this examination that when I was the principal of Excellence School, I used to make 100% students appear in this examination.

In the presidential address, Sardar Gurjit Singh Bagga said that all the family members of Gayatri family deserve gratitude that they are selflessly engaged in the work of social reform. Gayatri family has been contributing in educating the children.

The program was successfully conducted by Principal Dr. Alok Sonwalkar and vote of thanks was expressed by Advocate Pankaj Harsh Srivastava.
