Saharanpur, A meeting was convened with the political parties and EROs of the district under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Bansal regarding door-to-door verification work by BLOs and management of polling stations. Manish Bansal informed the representatives of political parties about the timetable set by the Election Commission. He informed that the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has fixed the date for door-to-door physical verification of the assembly electoral rolls through booth level officers till September 10. He said that all political parties should provide proposals regarding the booth by September 4, which should also include information about the problems being faced and the booth to be made. District Election Officer Manish Bansal also requested suggestions from political parties to improve the electoral roll. He said that by cooperating in the door-to-door verification being done by BLOs, also inform them about the problems that are being faced. District Election Officer Manish Bansal said that under the various activities of pre-revision and special brief revision which have been announced by the Commission, along with pre-revision activities and revision activities, special revision campaign will be conducted on 09, 10, 23 and 24 November. The objections received for this will be resolved by 24 December. The final publication of the electoral roll will be done on 06 January. While holding a meeting of the officers related to the election process, Shri Manish Bansal said that in the context of the door-to-door survey being done by BLOs, a meeting should be held with BLOs once a week and the data given by them should also be seen so that the electoral roll being prepared is completely correct. Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Dr. Archana Dwivedi, City Magistrate Gajendra Kumar, District President SP Choudhary Abdul Wahid, District President Apna Dal Rajkumar Panwar, Metropolitan President BJP Puneet Tyagi, Metropolitan President SP Haji Nawab Ansari, Choudhary Abdul Gafoor from SP, officials of other political parties and all Sub-District Magistrates and other officers were present in the meeting.
