Saharanpur, District Election Officer Manish Bansal inspected EVMs and VVPATs kept in the warehouse of the District Election Office along with officials of political parties as part of quarterly internal inspection as per the instructions of the Election Commission of India. During the inspection, EVMs were found kept in a systematic manner. It is to be informed that in compliance with the instructions of the Election Commission, it is necessary to conduct internal quarterly inspection in view of the storage of EVMs and VVPATs under the fairness and transparency of elections. DM Manish Bansal directed that no negligence should be allowed in the security of EVMs kept in the warehouse. On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Rajneesh Kumar Mishra, Bharatiya Janata Party representative Amit Sethi, Chaudhary Abdul Gafoor from Samajwadi Party, Rajkumar Panwar from Apna Dal, Sanjay Jain from Aam Aadmi Party, along with officials of other political parties were present.
