Saharanpur, As per the instructions of Election Commission of India, District Election Officer Manish Bansal inspected the booths being set up at Islamia Boys Inter College and Arya Shiksha Niketan Junior High School under a special campaign to receive claims and objections for the publication of electoral rolls of assembly constituencies at the respective polling booths.

District Magistrate Manish Bansal inspected the booths on the special date fixed for the campaign and gave necessary guidelines to the concerned. He directed that the name of the dead should not remain in the list at any booth, for this, their name should be removed from the list by conducting a door to door survey. He said that the publication of electoral rolls is an important task and any kind of laxity will not be accepted in this. The District Election Officer directed the BLOs to go door-to-door in the wards, towns, villages of their respective areas and fill up Forms 6, 7 and 8 as required and ensure action as per the rules. He directed the BLOs present at the booths to ensure that the names of the young men and women who complete the age of 18 and 19 years on the eligibility date 01 January 2025 are included in the voter list. DM Manish Bansal directed the supervisory officers to supervise the revision work being conducted at the polling stations on the days fixed for the special campaign on holidays, without feeling that it is a holiday, leave the house and ensure the presence of the BLOs and guide them. He instructed the BLOs to visit all the houses in the village and make votes of 100% of the people eligible to be included in the voter list, including the left out women and girls. He also guided them on many points while instructing that "not a single eligible person should be left out from becoming a voter". On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Rajneesh Kumar Mishra along with concerned officers and employees were present.
