Saharanpur, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development, UP Government Jaswant Saini and District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra distributed free electric chalks to 90 beneficiaries of Prajapati Samaj of the Mandal and free popcorn machines to 10 beneficiaries of Bhurji Samaj in the tool-kit distribution program run under the UP Matikala Board in the new auditorium located at the Collectorate. Among the traditional artisans selected in the financial year 2023-24, chalks were distributed to 25 beneficiaries of Saharanpur district of the Mandal, 25 beneficiaries of Muzaffarnagar and 40 beneficiaries of Shamli. Minister of State Jaswant Saini said that all sections of the society are being taken care of under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He said that the government is making every possible effort to revive and take forward the traditional industries. Under the Matikala Kaushal Vikas Yojana, by providing training for skill development of Matikala craftsmen, they are being made self-reliant through employment. He told the beneficiaries that by making good use of the tool kits given to you, become financially strong and also inspire others. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that the common people are being made skilled by providing training through various schemes run by the government. He said that the district administration is committed to make the government schemes reach the eligible people. The State Minister and District Magistrate benefited all the beneficiaries including Karan Singh son of Subhash village Gandevda, Arun Kumar son of Roopchand village Sona Arjunpur, Mrs. Pooja Rani wife of Amit Kumar Amardeep Colony, Saharanpur, Praveen Kumar son of Dayaram village Rankhandi, Bejendra son of Rajveer village Chauradev and Suraj son of Bhushan village Khalapatti. Clay art experts Vikas Kumar Prajapati Haridwar, Rajesh Saharanpur, Gopal Muzaffarnagar and Rajveer Saharanpur guided and motivated the beneficiaries present to improve the quality of clay art products and increase the income from the sale of the products.
