Katni, Last night in village Jatwara under Kuthla police station area, some unknown people brutally murdered a dismissed police constable by throwing stones. This incident created a sensation in the entire village. On receiving information about the incident, Kuthla police reached the village and took the body in their custody and after doing the inquest, sent the body for post-mortem. Police is busy investigating the matter. The deceased was posted as a constable in Balaghat district and while posted in Baihar police station, he was dismissed by the police department, since then he was living in the village. Kuthla police station in-charge Abhishek Choubey said that the villagers informed the police about the blood soaked body of a person lying on the platform under the Peepal tree in village Jatwara under the police station area. Police reached the spot as soon as the information was received.
It is said that this morning when the villagers woke up and came out of their houses for work, they saw the blood-stained body of Mukesh on the platform under the peepal tree situated in front of the Gauri Shankar temple in the village. After seeing the blood-stained body of Mukesh, a situation of panic was created in the entire village. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Kuthla police reached the spot. The police has taken the body in its custody and started further action. The dismissed police constable is said to have been killed by hitting with sticks and deadly weapons. The murder is likely to have happened after 11 last night. The police is engaged in finding out the reasons for the murder and who are the killers.
Wife and children live in Balaghat
According to information received from sources, 54-year-old Mukesh alias Lala Sharma, father Daduram Sharma, resident of village Jatwara under Kuthla police station area, was posted as a constable in the police department in Balaghat district. While he was posted at Baihar police station here, he was dismissed by the police department for some reason. Since then, he was living in his village Jatwara, while his wife and children live in Balaghat.
