Dhar Bhojshala Case: Important Hearing in the Supreme Court Today
Vishnu Shankar Jain to Represent the Hindu Side
Dhar, The Supreme Court will hear together on Tuesday the petitions challenging the Indore High Court's decision in the highly controversial Bhojshala dispute in Dhar. The High Court had granted the Hindu side the right to worship throughout the year, recognizing the Bhojshala as a temple. The petitions filed by the Muslim side against this decision are now to be heard in the Supreme Court. Senior advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain will represent the Hindu side.
Three Petitions in the Supreme Court
Three Special Leave Petitions (SLPs) have been filed in the Supreme Court so far challenging the Indore High Court's decision. The first petition was filed by the city Qazi of Dhar, the second by the Kamal Maula Welfare Society, and the third by Gibran Ansari on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board.
Hearings to Be Held Together
All three petitions have named officials of the Hindu Front for Justice, the main petitioner in the original petition filed in the High Court, as respondents. The Supreme Court has listed all three petitions for hearing together. Both parties, as well as the entire country, are closely watching this crucial hearing.
Hindu Side Completes Preparations
The Hindu side has completed its legal preparations ahead of the Supreme Court hearing. A caveat has already been filed in the case to prevent an interim stay order (stay) from being issued without hearing the Hindu side. Senior advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain will represent the Hindu side in the court.
Ashish Goyal, representing the Hindu side, stated that they will vigorously present their case in the Supreme Court. He claims that Bhojshala has been a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati since ancient times. The Muslim side will also present its legal arguments before the Supreme Court challenging the High Court's decision.
