Champaran, Police of Dhaka police station under East Champaran district is continuously conducting raids at various places in the police station area against liquor traders.
Based on the information received by the police of Dhaka police station, Trainee Inspector Amarjeet Kumar, while conducting a raid near Bakrihari Chowk of the police station area, arrested a businessman driver with 1558 bottles of Nepal made Saunfi liquor hidden in the basement of the pickup. .
The arrested person has been identified as Vipin Kumar, son of Suresh Bhagat, resident of Lala Tola Laukhan village, Ghorasahan police station area of East Champaran district.
In this context, Dhaka Police Station Head Abhinandan Kumar Singh said that the pickup with liquor has been seized. And a FIR has been registered against the arrested person under the Bihar Alcohol Prohibition and Excise Act and he has been sent to judicial custody.
