Saharanpur | Deoband, Despite not having electricity connection, Vidyut Nigam sent a bill of more than one lakh rupees to a villager. Regarding the matter, the officials of Bharatiya Kisan Union Sangharsh Morcha met SDM along with the victim and submitted a memorandum.

The officials reached the Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office under the leadership of the organization's national spokesperson Haji Abbas. They submitted a memorandum to SDM Deepak Kumar. In which it was told that villager Zahid, a resident of Phulas Akbarpur village, does not have electricity connection. But despite this, the corporation sent him a bill of more than one lakh rupees. He is constantly making rounds of the officials regarding this. But no hearing is taking place. He has demanded action in the matter. Along with this, demands have been made in the memorandum to reduce the increased house tax in the city, to make sugarcane payments to farmers on time, to implement Swaminathan report, to purchase crops according to MSP, etc. On this occasion Dr. Rameez Gulbahar, Dilshad, Rizwan, Raju, Shahzad, Iqrar, Bhura, Shah Alam, Farman, Naseem etc. were present.
