Shajapur, State Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Shri Inder Singh Parmar on Tuesday participated in the "Grand Deepotsav Program" organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Smriti Government Post Graduate College in Shujalpur on the auspicious occasion of Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi and sent best wishes to everyone for the festival of Deepotsav. Shri Parmar also extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone for Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi. Shri Parmar observed the attractive rangolis prepared by the students on various themes decorated with flowers, colors and lamps in the college campus and congratulated the students for their innovative efforts. Shri Parmar said that the creation of the artworks displayed in the college campus is a unique manifestation of Indian culture and gives the message of social harmony. Shri Parmar appreciated the organizers for giving grandeur to the Deepotsav program by lighting 21 thousand lamps simultaneously and creating beautiful rangolis on different themes and also congratulated and wished them.

The playground of Government Jawaharlal Nehru College lit up with the light of 21 thousand lamps lit simultaneously with the color of 16 hours of continuous hard work of 300 players under the guidance of sports coach Shri Devendra Kumbhakar. The pictures taken from the drone view made the people of the area eager to reach the campus. As soon as the audience entered the college campus on Devuthani Ekadashi, the welcome rangoli at the welcome gate in accordance with the tradition of Indian culture captivated the audience. The swinging lamps at the welcome gate and the swinging lamps in the courtyard were seen depicting the importance of the holy festival of Diwali in Indian culture. The students tried to show the importance of various essential aspects of the nation and society with flowers and colourful rangolis. Tableau of Mata Tulsi-Shri Shaligram marriage, lamps floating in water at Vivekanand Setu, big lamps prepared on the theme of Himachal Pradesh in Gandhi Udyan, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao theme rangoli, Developed India 2047 in front of Atal Bhawan, rangoli dedicated to the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Mata Ahilya Bai at the Golden Jubilee Gate and exhibition related to her life, long jump pit, rangoli dedicated to sports by volleyball, basketball, kabaddi players, rangoli appealing not to cut trees for environmental protection, rangoli on yoga, Indian Army, nature protects - if it is safe, rangolis drawn by school students on Olympics and Cheetah Project displayed various social points attractively. The rangoli drawn to pay tribute to the late Shri Ratan Tata, the renowned industrialist and social worker, was the centre of attraction. The artwork created with flowers and rangoli colors on the theme of Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao appeared to be giving a message to the society. A large number of people from Shujalpur city and the surrounding rural areas gathered in the grand Deepotsav program. People took selfies and group photos with the attractive floral decorations and garland of lamps made on each theme.
On this occasion, Mr. Ashok Nayak, Mr. Vijay Singh Bais, Mr. Alok Khanna, college principal Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, sports teacher Mr. Devendra Kumbhakar along with other dignitaries, citizens and students were present in the program.
