Saharanpur | Deoband, on the occasion of International Tobacco Liberation Day, Shiv Chowk branch of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwari University organised a de-addiction exhibition in the Block Development Office premises. In this, the message of de-addiction was given through various posters, explaining the harm caused by tobacco consumption. Brahmakumari Parul sister told about the harm caused by tobacco and alcohol in the exhibition. She said that it is a slow poison. Its addiction ruins the peace of the family and the person starts being looked down upon in the society. She told that 2500 to three thousand people die every day in India and about 25 lakh people die every year worldwide due to tobacco. She said that today we should take a pledge to be free from addiction. She told that one can easily get rid of this evil through the method of Rajyoga. Block Pramukh representative Vijay Tyagi, who came to visit the exhibition, praised the efforts being made by the Brahma Kumari sisters for de-addiction. Ayush, Govardhan, Deepak, Jaiveer, Monty, Kavita sister Arvind, Ankur, Nishant, Pradyumna etc. were present on this occasion.
