The accused of illegal ganja cultivation in village Hinauta was arrested along with ganja plants

Damoh, in view of the upcoming assembly elections 2023, the Superintendent of Police has been directed to take maximum action against illegal drugs. Following the above order, the police received information from a reliable informer on 04/11/23 that Vishnu alias Jeevan Patel, father of Nannebhai Patel, resident of village Hinota, was illegally growing hemp trees in his field behind his house. He has planted them to earn and today he is going to take out those trees and sell them. If immediate raid is conducted then success can be achieved, considering the informer's information as reliable and immediately informing the senior officers about the information and taking legal action under the direction of Superintendent of Police Damoh, Additional Superintendent of Police Damoh and under the guidance of City Superintendent of Police Damoh in village Hinauta. Accused Vishnu alias Jeevan Patel, father Nannebhai Patel, age 45 years, resident of village Hinauta, had 470 illegal ganja-like green plants planted in his field behind his house, total ringage 187.12. Kilogram worth about Rs 2 lakh was duly seized. The accused was arrested and crime number 735/2023 section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered and taken under investigation.
