Damoh, Damoh Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that the rainy season is at its peak and there is a possibility of heavy rain in the coming days as well and during the rainy season, rivers and drains get flooded, they start flowing above their limit, apart from this the flow of rivers also becomes very fast. Looking at all these things, there is a need to be very careful in two things. One, at such a time, people who go to bathe in the rivers in great enthusiasm or for any other work, should avoid going to the river for bathing etc. or for any kind of celebration or entertainment at such a time, it can be very dangerous.
Collector Shri Kochar said that many times in the state and district such situations arise that due to this people have to lose their lives, so do not go near rivers, ponds and canals for bathing, washing clothes and such other water sources and keep yourself safe.
Collector Shri Kochar said that crocodiles have started appearing in many rivers of the district. A crocodile was seen in Kopra river, because the number of crocodiles in our district is quite high. That is why it is very important for us to be careful in rivers at this time. Apart from rivers, we have many such water sources where waterfalls start flowing naturally, or a waterfall-like formation starts and people go there and start bathing, so these should be avoided a little. This can be dangerous, if you avoid them during the rainy season, then everyone's life will be safe.
