Katni, despite the Maha Kumbh moving towards its end, the number of devotees is not decreasing. There is a huge crowd in the trains going to Prayagraj at Katni railway station and it is difficult to even set foot in the coaches of the trains arriving on the platform. Many Kumbh special trains passing through Katni and other trains going to Prayagraj were so crowded that it was difficult to even board them. However, after the accident at New Delhi railway station, vigilance has been increased at Katni railway station. Along with GRP and RPF personnel, city police force is also continuously deployed at Katni railway station.

GRP and RPF and city police personnel are deployed outside each coach of the train arriving at Katni railway station and are seen trying to ensure that all the passengers board the train safely every day. Due to this, there was no chaos despite the crowd at the railway stations. There are many passengers sitting on platform number two of Katni railway station who are running with their small children to get a place in the train. It was also seen that there are some passengers who have reservation in the express train but the gates of the train were not opened due to the crowd in the train and they could not board the train due to which they had to wait for other trains.
