Corona cases have started increasing once again in India. On Friday, the number of corona cases across India has crossed 5,000. State governments have started issuing advisories regarding Corona. The Center has also organized mock drills to assess facility-level preparedness.

Total active cases of corona 5,364

There are currently 5,364 active cases of corona in India. As of Friday, four new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, Kerala remains the most affected state regarding Corona. It is followed by Gujarat, West Bengal and Delhi.

192 new cases in Kerala

In the last 24 hours, 192 new cases of corona have been reported in Kerala. There have been 107 corona cases in Gujarat, 58 in West Bengal and 30 in Delhi. 498 new cases of corona infection have been reported across the country.

The number of corona cases in Delhi has reached 592

30 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Delhi. The number of active cases of corona in Delhi has increased to 592. Seven deaths have been recorded in Delhi due to corona since January 1. No new death case has been reported since Thursday. The Center has directed all the states to ensure the availability of oxygen, isolation beds, ventilators and essential medicines in view of the increasing number of Kovid-19 cases.

114 new cases of corona in Maharashtra

114 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra. The total number of cases has increased to 1,276 since January this year. One more death has been reported from Corona in Maharashtra. This has increased the death toll to 18.
