Let us tell you that the Railways has started working towards land acquisition for the new rail line Sitamarhi-Motihari via Shivhar. This work is also progressing at a fast pace. Sitamarhi-Motihari via Shivhar new rail section is to be prepared by the Railways in 69.9 km. At present, the work of land survey and acquisition of a total of 28 km long rail line between Sitamarhi and Shivhar has started.

13 bridges and 62 culverts will be constructed

In this 28 km, Sitamarhi district has a total area of ​​17.5 km. At the same time, the remaining 10.5 km area comes in Shivhar district. 13 bridges and 62 culverts will be constructed on this rail section. At the same time, a total of 30 railway crossing gates will also be built. It has been told that there will be a railway station in Rewasi of Sitamarhi and Dhankaul and Shivhar of Shivhar. To speed up the railway work, District Officer Richie Pandey had recently inspected the path drawing of the Sitamarhi-Shivhar new rail line in Rewasi of Riga block.

209 acres of land is being acquired

During the inspection, District Land Acquisition Officer Vikas Kumar told that 209 acres of land is being acquired in 13 villages for the Sitamarhi-Shivhar new rail line. For this, about Rs 50 crore has been distributed as compensation. The work of sending notices to farmers from the District Land Acquisition Office has started. Regarding this, the District Officer has directed to speed up the distribution of compensation for the railway line. Administrative officers of both the districts have been instructed to do this work at a fast pace, so that the work of this project can be completed soon.
