Lalbarra, Congress officials submitted memorandum to police station in-charge Shri Hemant Nayak on Thursday, 19 September, demanding registration of criminal case against Buldhana (Maharashtra) MLA Sanjay Gaikwad of Shinde Sena.
It is mentioned in the memorandum that Shinde Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad (Maharashtra) threatened Rahul Gandhi by saying that he will give 11 lakh rupees if Rahul Gandhi's tongue is cut. Rahul Gandhi's father late Shri Rajiv Gandhi and his grandmother late Indira Gandhi have sacrificed their lives for the country and Rahul Gandhi has their blood flowing in his veins and he is a true patriot. Our honorable leader of the highest house has been insulted by using abusive words and threats against him publicly.
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and former President of All India Congress Committee Shri Rahul Gandhi has been publicly insulted by Shinde Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad by using abusive language against our honourable Congress leader.
All Congressmen are hurt by the above BJP leaders' senseless statements and insulting Rahul Gandhi and threatening to cut his tongue. Sanjay Gaikwad, Maharashtra MLA, should be arrested immediately by registering a case against him under Sections 192, 351 (2), 352 (3), 352 (4) of the Indian Penal Code and the harshest punishment should be given to him by registering a case against him in the court, so that the forces of communal harmony in the country who are dividing the country can be taught a lesson.
While talking to the press, Block Congress Committee President Bhauram Gadheshwar said that we had come to Lalbarra police station today to register an FIR for the indecent remarks made on our beloved leader of the masses Shri Rahul Gandhi. Strictest action should be taken against such people.
Prominent among those demanding action are Bhauram Gadeshwar President Block Congress Committee, Mrs. Laxmi Vaghade President Women Congress, Dharmendra Dhanden Vice President Block Congress Committee, Munendra Thackeray, Mrs. Premlata Bisen Block President Women Congress and Sarpanch Aulyakanhar, Maniram Bhoyar District Panchayat member representative, Balesh Rahangdale Sarpanch Behegaon, Kailash Nakhate Sarpanch representative Khari, Mukesh Khare, O P Bisen Sarpanch representative, Shailesh Kekati, Prem Merscole, Munendra Thackeray, Deepak Tomar, Satanand Damahe former Sarpanch, Vinod Thackeray, Anil Nageshwar, Prashant Chandrawar and all others have demanded action.
