Rewa, today after a long gap, I felt the need to write on Rewa Congress and felt that the Congress Party is continuously humiliating its core workers in the name of a winning candidate. I am talking about the 2018 elections, the unexpected results of which shocked the party. The main reason for which was that the senior leaders of the Congress party did not trust their party workers and instead trusted the people coming from other parties. Out of the eight seats in the party district, Abhay Mishra from BJP won from Rewa and Abhay Mishra from Tyonthar respectively. Ramashankar Singh Patel from Janata Dal, Babita Saket from BSP from Mangawan and Vidyawati Patel from BSP were also declared candidates from Devtalab. That is, on 50% of the seats, the party did not trust its original workers and instead trusted the people who had lost from other parties. The result of not trusting the party workers proved fatal for the party and the party lost all the eight seats in the district. Without learning from the elections, going one step further in the 2023 elections, Kapidhwaj Singh from Samajwadi Party was elected from Gurh, Ramashankar Singh Patel from Janata Dal was again elected from Tyonthar, Ramgarib Vanvasi from BSP from Sirmaur and Ramgarib Vanvasi from Devtalab. Padmesh Gautam came from BJP, Babita Saket from BSP came from Mangawan and the limit was reached when the party declared Ayaram Gayaram Abhay Mishra, who played the game of hide and seek with BJP Congress, as its candidate from Semaria.
It is noteworthy here that the Congress Party making people from other parties its candidates indicates that either the organization of the party in the district is only on paper and not on the ground or the party chiefs are not aware of the party workers across the district. There is no trust above.
