Vikram Misri announced ceasefire

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, 'Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) called the Indian DGMO at 3:35 pm today. It was agreed between them that both sides will stop all firing and military action on land, air and sea from 1700 hrs Indian Standard Time. Today both sides have been instructed to implement this agreement. The Director General of Military Operations will talk again on 12 May at 1200 hrs. This brief announcement by the Foreign Secretary came soon after US President Donald Trump said that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire after talks mediated by the US.
