Damoh. Over 350 applications were heard at the public hearing held on Tuesday. In addition to the 312 registered applications, 30-40 unregistered applications were also received. Hearing all the cases one by one, officials from the concerned departments were directed to take prompt and legal action. The highest number of applications pertained to the Revenue Department.
During the public hearing, a land dispute case involving a disabled person, pending since 2001, came to light. An immediate record check was conducted, which revealed the land in question was public trust property belonging to a temple. The concerned SDM was directed to conduct a thorough investigation and take action as per the rules.
ANM and MPW employees from the Health Department complained of technical difficulties in registering their attendance on the 'Sarthak App'. The e-Governance Manager and the Chief Medical Officer provided on-site training to the employees. It was explained that employees can mark their attendance from anywhere, but the app will record their location, and attendance will only be valid if it matches the duty station.

Farmers also complained about pending payments for wheat and gram procurement during the public hearing. A preliminary investigation revealed that payments to 13 farmers associated with the Piparia Champat Society were hindered due to a lack of stock at the warehouse level or a shortage. Officials were instructed to adjust the amount from the respective society's commission and expedite the farmers' payments.

After the public hearing, it was stated that the administration's effort is to ensure timely and effective resolution of every complaint. Despite the busy sowing season, the large number of people attending the public hearing is a sign of growing public confidence in the administration.
