The five-day Shri Chintaharan Ganesh Installation Festival, held at the Shri Chintaharan Ganesh Temple complex at Kargil Square, concluded on Wednesday amid Vedic rituals and religious enthusiasm. On the final day (Dashami Tithi), the Purnahuti (concluding offering) of the Gauri-Ganesh Ek-Kundi Mahayajna was performed, followed by a grand Bhandara (community feast). Despite the rain, the enthusiasm of the devotees was remarkable, and thousands participated in the Prasad, gaining spiritual merit.

Under the guidance of Yagnacharya Pt. Rudraksh Sharma, devotees offered oblations accompanied by Vedic chanting throughout the five-day religious rituals. On the final day, during the Purnahuti and Maha-Aarti, the entire temple complex resonated with a devotional atmosphere filled with chants hailing Lord Ganesh.

Throughout the festival, various rituals were performed, including Prayashchit Karma (rites of atonement), Himadri Snan, Mandap Pravesh (entry into the ceremonial pavilion), Ganpati Pujan, Dev Sthapana (deity installation), and Havan. On Navami Tithi, a special worship ceremony was held where 1,008 Modaks and Durva grass were offered to Lord Ganesh; A large number of devotees participated in this event.

Thousands of devotees from the town and surrounding rural areas participated in the Prasad at the grand Bhandara organized after the Purnahuti. Despite intermittent rain, there was no dimming of the devotees' faith and enthusiasm. The temple complex remained bustling with crowds of devotees until late in the evening.

Temple priest Pt. Ashish Sharma and the Shri Chintaharan Ganesh Committee expressed their gratitude to all the devotees, donors, and townspeople who contributed to making the event a success.

Committee members—including Harpal Singh Solanki, Dinesh Shukla, Vimal Jain, Mahendra Nigam, Sushil Talera, Mahendra Singh Solanki, KD Bairagi, Bhanwarlal Patidar, and Mangilal Lohar—played a pivotal role in the success of the festival.
