After the approval of the cabinet, it will be implemented in the state. The process of compassionate appointment to the dependents of teachers who died during service is going on. In this sequence, these decisions have been taken. The committee formed for the rule has prepared the proposal.

It is being told that more than six thousand compassionate cases of different districts of the state are pending. There is a proposal to create a separate cadre for their appointment, which can be used for multi-tasking. Dependents will be given work based on their qualifications. Cases of compassionate appointments have been pending for a long time. This is being mentioned in detail in the rules. Departmental officials say that earlier there was no concrete policy for compassionate appointments, due to which a large number of their cases are pending.

After the death of teachers and employees in the education department during their service period, a large number of dependents are waiting for jobs. Earlier, on the death of a teacher, his dependent was given the job of a teacher. But after the Right to Education Act came into force, training and passing the TET were made mandatory for appointment to the post of a teacher. Due to this, the queue of backlogging became large.
