Dhar, With the aim of modernizing the district's education system and elevating technical competence to new heights, Collector Shri Rajiv Ranjan Meena today conducted a surprise inspection of the nodal government ITI (ITI), the local model school, and the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET). During the inspection, he thoroughly reviewed the infrastructure, digital learning, and student welfare arrangements at the educational institutions.

ITI Dhar Praised Technological Innovations

The Collector inspected ITI Dhar and praised the state-of-the-art labs developed with CSR funds. He inspected the state's only Electric Vehicle Lab (Mahindra & Mahindra), along with the IT Lab (Cipla Foundation and Ipca Lab), the Electrical Lab (Schneider India), the Industrial Painter Lab (Mahindra & Mahindra), and the Welder Lab (Eicher Motors). He noted that with the support of industries, students are receiving world-class training, which will prove to be a milestone for their future. He congratulated the entire team on the institution's record of 100% placement and 100% admission. He also described the initiative of providing sanitary pads and incinerator machines for the health of girls, provided by IPCA Lab, as extremely important and beneficial.

Model School: Strengthening Digital Education and Hostel Management

The Collector inspected the Model School. During the inspection, he inspected the computer lab and directly interacted with the students undergoing training there. He explained the usefulness of computers to the children and inspired them by working on Excel himself. He observed the ongoing classroom activities with the students through Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs). The Collector directed that wherever IFPs have been provided, they be regularly used and children be taught using modern technology. He also directed that the distribution of new bicycles and books available in the school be timely.

During the inspection, Mr. Meena inspected the hostel located on the school campus. He directed that the new roti-making machine provided by the government be immediately operational in the hostel. Giving top priority to hostel security, he directed that all CCTV cameras be kept operational 24/7. He also instructed that the passwords of these cameras be changed regularly for security reasons. During the inspection, the Collector stated that providing a better educational environment and full facilities to the students in the hostel is the administration's priority. He directed the school management to ensure compliance with all these arrangements and to avoid any negligence in their work.
