Damoh, Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar has ordered investigation to CMHO and Civil Surgeon regarding the complaint of ASHA worker of Jabera area demanding money from the patient and intention of not behaving well. He has said that if found guilty, they should be removed from service immediately.

The collector said that an ASHA worker from Jabera had complained about two things, first that money was demanded from her patient, second complaint was that she was not treated well. After listening to her entire story, CMHO and Civil Surgeon have been ordered to investigate, and it has been said that if found guilty, they should be removed from the job immediately, because it is absolutely intolerable that someone asks for money here.

He said that as far as the question of behaviour is concerned, it has been directed that soon the entire staff, be it nursing staff, ward boy, aaya, or any other staff, it is very important to train them in behavioral practice. Later, a training session of two to three days will be organized. Those training sessions are such that they are not just bookish training sessions; they bring about a change in the behavior of the person. We will train everyone.
He said that change in behavior is a bit long process, the training should be very good. If people are doing wrong, strong action will be taken against them.
