Collector Conducts Surprise Inspections of Offices
Negligence Will Not Be Tolerated; Notices Issued to Absent Officials and Staff
Damoh: With the aim of streamlining the administrative machinery in the Damoh district and ensuring the speedy resolution of public grievances, Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav has been conducting continuous inspections of government offices. He categorically stated that no form of negligence regarding public matters will be tolerated.
In line with this initiative, the Collector conducted surprise inspections of the Damoh SDM Office, the Damoh Tehsil Office, the Damayanti Nagar Tehsil Office, and the Damoh Janpad Panchayat Office. During the inspections, a total of 24 officials and employees—including the SDM, the Tehsildar of Damoh, the Tehsildar of Damayanti Nagar, and the Naib Tehsildar—were found to be absent. Show-cause notices have been issued to all of them, demanding an explanation.
14 Employees Absent at Janpad Panchayat
During the inspection, 14 employees were found absent at the Janpad Panchayat office. Show-cause notices have been issued to all these employees, seeking an explanation. The administration has clarified that if a satisfactory response is not received, appropriate action will be taken against the individuals concerned.
Monitoring via ‘Sarthak App’
Collector Pratap Narayan Yadav announced that the ‘Sarthak App’ has been implemented to ensure the regular attendance of officials and employees across all tehsils and sub-divisional levels within the district. Now, all officials and employees will mark their attendance daily through the app, thereby enabling the administration to conduct effective monitoring.
He stated that the objective of this initiative is to ensure the timely presence of officials and employees in their offices and to facilitate the prompt resolution of issues concerning the general public.
