Three commissionerates are already established

Making the announcement in the state Assembly, CM Manohar Lal Khattar said that police commissionerates have already been established in three districts of Haryana falling in NCR - Faridabad, Gurugram and Sonipat. Apart from this, while replying to the discussion on budget estimates, CM Khattar said, "I announce that a Police Commissionerate will be created for Jhajjar district also."


Opposition attacks after Rathi's murder

The announcement of creation of Commissionerate in Jhajjar has come just after the murder of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) state president Nafe Singh Rathi in Bahadurgarh of Jhajjar district on Sunday. In this incident, the security personnel of Nafe Singh Rathi also received several bullets. This attack on former MLA Nafe Singh Rathi took place near Barahi Gate.
