CM Fadnavis said- 17 bills got approval
Money reached the accounts of 85 lakh farmers
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Saturday that 17 bills have been approved and money has been sent directly to the accounts of 85 lakh farmers. He said that the government has decided to help orange farmers and 55 thousand farmers with land up to 3 hectares.
While talking to journalists after the Maharashtra winter assembly session, Fadnavis gave information about the approval of the bills in the assembly. Along with this, he also told that 25 thousand slums are also being rehabilitated in Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
Northern part of Gadchiroli is now Naxal free - CM
Chief Minister Fadnavis said that the northern part of Gadchiroli district is now Naxal free. He told that last year 33 Maoists were killed, 55 Maoists were arrested and 33 surrendered. He said that the government's goal is to completely eradicate Naxalism in the next 3 years.
1500 youths of Gadchiroli joined the police force
CM Fadnavis also said that 1500 youths of Gadchiroli district have joined the police force, out of which 33 youths are Naxal victims. He said that the prominent leader of the Maoist organization Giridhar and his wife have surrendered. Giridhar had recruited Maoist cadres in South Gadchiroli.
Proposal to change the name of Pune airport - Shinde
After CM Fadnavis, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also emphasized on the bills discussed in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Saturday. He said that the state government has approved 170 projects. He also took a dig at former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and said that Uddhav Thackeray is coming to the session only like a tourist. Regarding the renaming of Pune airport, Shinde said that a proposal to name Pune airport as Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj International Airport has been sent to the Center.
Mahayuti alliance big victory in Maharashtra
In the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance won a landslide victory with 235 seats. The BJP achieved the position of becoming the largest party with 132 seats, while Shiv Sena won 57 and NCP won 41 seats. The Mahayuti alliance includes BJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar faction's NCP.
