Chhatarpur. A relief news has come for the residents of the city. The tender of Jaypee Infrastructure Company has been re-approved for the construction of the medical college. Most probably, the construction work of the medical college will start soon.

It may be noted that at the time of last election in 2018, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had not only announced medical college in Chhatarpur, but Bhumi Pujan was also done by allotting land in Gourgaon, but due to some farmers taking a stay from the court, it was canceled. Work continued to be affected. As soon as the stay from the court ended, this Jaypee Infrastructure Company, which had got the contract, refused to work. She wanted to increase her rate. Here, due to the non-construction of the medical college, the movement was organized by the Medical Sangharsh Morcha, as a result of which the government came into action again and when the Chief Minister came to Chhatarpur last month, he announced that the construction work of the medical college would be started soon, after that again Tenders were called for the construction of the medical college, but due to the objection of the former contractor, the said tenders were cancelled. On the other hand, efforts are being made by the government to start this work, due to which tenders were called again, in which the contract for the construction of medical college in Chhatarpur has again been given to Jaypee Infrastructure Company. Now it is expected that the construction of the medical college will start soon in Gourgaon.
