Saharanpur, City MLA Rajiv Gumbar today inspected the cleaning work going on in the Dhamola river along with the officials of the Municipal Corporation and Irrigation Department. On his instructions, today two additional Poklane machines were installed by the Irrigation Department near Jail Chungi Setia Bihar and Vishwakarma Chowk for cleaning silt etc. in the Dhamola river. Till now, the Municipal Corporation was cleaning the river with three Poklane machines and JCB etc. While inspecting the cleaning campaign going on in the Paandhoi river, MLA Rajiv Gumbar told the concerned officials that the debris and garbage etc. coming out should be immediately removed from the banks through trolleys and dumped at some other place. So that this debris and garbage does not go into the river again when the water comes. MLA Rajiv Gumbar also warned the officials that he would visit these areas daily and review the work. During this time councilor KK Batra, councilor Bablu Tomar, BJP metropolitan general secretary Yog Chugh, divisional president Rajkumar Kalra, Akshu, Pradeep Sharma, Harjeet Narula, Sumit Arora, Jasvir Moga, Rajesh Yadav from Municipal Corporation, Rajiv Kumar, Alok Shrivastava, AE Rahul Kumar of Irrigation Department etc were present.
