Saharanpur | Deoband, the Gurmat Sikhlay Camp going on at Gurudwara Shri Gurunanak Sabha has been formally concluded. In the closing ceremony organized on this occasion, the children learning Punjabi language, Gurbani and Kirtan impressed everyone by giving their presentation. In the program organized in the hall of Gurudwara Sahib under the aegis of Gurudwara Committee and Mahila Sukhmani Seva Society, 25 children including Harsh Narang, Anmol Singh, Priyan Chhabra, Mehar, Mayra, Namit, Atulit, Bakul, Chirag, Siya, Ritika, Ruchi, Hargun Kaur, Tarleen, Khush Singh, Tanishq Chhabra, Parth, Aradhya Girdhar, Abhijeet, Gurjeet, Prakhar, Ishmeet, Fateh, Pooja, Charanjot, Ruhi Raswant, who participated in the camp, delighted the congregation by reciting the Mool Mantra, Shabad, names of five Takht Sahibs, Japji Sahib and Punjabi language alphabet, names of ten Guru Sahiban. Addressing the program, Hardeep Singh, Deputy Principal of Doon Valley School said that the community that stays connected to its language always progresses. Congratulating the Gurudwara Committee and Mahila Sukhmani Seva Society on the success of the camp, he said that along with the children who came to the camp, their mothers also deserve congratulations, who showed interest in teaching Punjabi language to their children. Gurudwara Committee head Seth Kuldeep Kumar and secretary Gurjot Singh Sethi blessed the children and said that the Gurmat Sikhai camp will run for the whole year. Children will be connected to Gurmukhi by running classes every Sunday in Gurudwara Sahib. The children and Bhai Amandeep Singh and his wife Kiran Kaur, who taught them Punjabi, were honored with mementoes. During this Shyam Lal Bharti, Paramjit Singh, Satish Girdhar, Sachin Chhabra, Deepika Chhabra, Rosie Kaur, Bholi Kaur, Papinder Kaur, Harjeet Kaur, Shanti Devi, Balwinder Singh, Aman Sethi, Devendra Pal Singh, Balwant Singh, etc. were present.
