Demand for compensation and filing of case was raised

the body was handed over to the family. The other four children who were taken out of the canal were also brought to Nagaud hospital by the police for treatment. Out of these, Amit Kumar Chaudhary son Kamlesh Chaudhary 13 years old was in critical condition, due to which after first aid, the doctor referred him to district hospital Satna. Three other children are undergoing treatment, their health is said to be improving. It is said that after drowning, Amit Chaudhary drank a lot of water through his mouth and nose. Some water has entered his lungs. Doctors are treating Amit in the district hospital.

The villagers of Rahikwara and Congress District Minister Mukhtar Ahmed Siddiqui Advocate have demanded from the administration that a case be registered against the careless canal contractor and action be taken as per the rules. It is said that the contractor has left the canal completely open. No type of varicating has been done, due to which the children went inside it to bathe without any hindrance and this serious accident occurred due to slipping of feet. It is demanded that the contractor should be given a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family of the deceased and Rs 1 lakh each to the families of the other victims.
