Anuppur, Amarkantak Thermal Power Station Chachai District Anuppur was honoured some time ago for the best performance in power generation. The abusive officers of a special class who had taken refuge in the plant were honoured in which the abusive officer of CHP was expressing his happiness by distributing boondi laddus while showing his teeth. He did not think at all that two workers gave their lives for power generation. First of all, their families should be honoured. But the exploitative class, instead of honouring them, fired Bhanmati Kol, Puran Sahu, Ramdas Sahu, working under the contract of Happy Square Outsourcing Services Private Limited, Office 240, Nagpur Road, Madan Mahal, Jabalpur, MP 482001, from their jobs by talking to the contractor, without any reason and before notice. Due to livelihood problems, the complainant appealed to the management for justice at many places but no one listened to him.

Labourer Bhanmati Kol has written letters to SP, Collector, Commissioner and Chief Minister and complained about this. Amarkantak Thermal Power Station Chachai (Anuppur) Chief Engineer M L Patel and Superintending Engineer Operations Rajiv Gupta abused and scolded me and insulted me by using caste-specific abusive language like "Kulaniya" and threatened me and drove me out of the power house saying that go and tell your father Mohan Yadav, Energy Minister and Ramlal Raut that I will not keep you on the job. I, a poor working woman of Kol society, have decided to end my life due to caste-based insult and insult to the Chief Minister and due to guilt, I will commit self-immolation in front of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and your bungalow on 17th September 2024, for which Chief Engineer Chachai and Superintending Engineer Operations will be fully responsible. It has been written in the complaint letter that I am a poor woman of Kol tribe and have been working as a turbine cleaner in Power House Chachai for about 20 years, but the contractor and Amarkantak Thermal Power Station Chachai's Superintending Engineer Rajiv Gupta and the officials here fired me and my two other colleagues Ramdas Sahu and Puran Sahu from work for about two months without any reason. We three workers made our request to the Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer that we three workers have been working honestly for about 20 years, but the officials did not pay attention to our request. When our request was not heard by Chief Engineer M L Patel and Superintending Engineer Rajiv Gupta, then we three workers narrated our ordeal to our former MLA of Anuppur and Chairman of MP Coal Development Authority with Cabinet Minister status, Ram Lal Raut, on which Ram Lal Raut spoke to the Chief Engineer and said that we will meet him on 20 August 2024 and will be hired. When we went to Power House Chachai, the Chief Engineer got angry and started scolding us and said that you make us do politics. You go to the MLA, the Chief Engineer and the Superintending Engineer Operations started scolding us loudly. First of all M L Patel said that Kulaniya makes us do politics. Keep abusing us continuously. And said go to your father Mohan Yadav, Energy Minister or Ramlal Raut, we will not keep you here. Meanwhile Rajeev Gupta also started abusing in a loud voice, I have seen a lot of people like you, now don't come here and go wherever you want. Go to Mohan Yadav or Energy Minister, whoever you want to go to. Now run away from here. Don't come again. Now only your Chief Minister, Energy Minister or Ramlal Raut will keep you in work. When this letter was sent to various offices, Commissioner Shahdol wrote his official letter number 4993 dated 11 September 2024 to Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Anuppur and Chief Engineer Production Amarkantak Thermal Power Station Chachai District Anuppur. The officers, terrified by letter number 4994 dated 11 September 2024, pressurized Bhanmati Kol and got her signed on some papers after hiring her. Now it remains to be seen what the woman does next.
