Chhattisgarh: Preparations for the 24th National Vanvasi Krida Competition in full swing
The thrill of tribal players will be seen from 27 to 31 December

Raipur, Preparations for the 24th National Vanvasi Krida Competition have intensified in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Today, preparations for the competition began with the Pran Pratishtha of Budhadev in the new temple built in the Shabri Kalyan Ashram premises and Bhoomi Pujan at the Science College ground. This competition, being organised by Vanvasi Vikas Samiti Chhattisgarh, an organisation affiliated to the All India Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, will be held in the capital Raipur from 27 to 31 December. More than eight hundred tribal boys and girls from about 23 states will participate in the competition. There will be football and archery competitions in the competition. Football competitions will be held at Kota Stadium and Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University ground. All preparations are being done at a fast pace for this national competition. Amar Bansal, Secretary Welcome Committee, Dr. Anurag Jain Secretary Vanvasi Vikas Samiti, Umesh Kachhap, President Vanvasi Vikas Samiti Chhattisgarh, Praveen Dholke Regional Organization Minister, Subhash Barole Regional Co-Organization Minister, Ram Nath Kashyap State Organization Minister, Krishna Kumar Vaishnav TAC Member, Ravi Goyal, Gopal Biyani Madhavi Joshi, Sandeep Sharma Sun & Sun Group, Kailash Murarka National Archery Association Vice President, Ajay Kale President Maharashtra Mandal were present in the worship of Mother Earth and Pran Pratishtha Puja of Budha Dev.
Rajeev Sharma, in-charge of the Publicity Division of Vanvasi Vikas Samiti, said here today that this competition is organized with the aim of providing a national platform to tribal sports talents across the country and identifying them and preparing future national players. This time the 24th competition is being held in the capital Raipur. He said that tribal players from about 23 states from Andaman Nicobar to Delhi, Punjab will participate in the competition. Archery competition will be held for boys and girls in junior and sub-junior categories. In the football competition, tribal boys will show their skills in junior and sub-junior categories. He informed that Vanvasi Vikas Samiti is making arrangements for accommodation and food for tribal players coming to Raipur from different states to participate in the competition. Girls will be kept in Shabri Kanya Ashram premises located in Rohinipuram. There will be arrangements for accommodation of boys in Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Saraswati Shiksha Sansthan premises. Breakfast and food arrangements have been made for everyone in Shabri Kalyan Ashram premises. Vehicle facility will also be provided to the players to travel from the accommodation to the playground. Winners of the competition will be awarded with certificates along with medals and trophies. Representatives of Kalyan Ashram from other states including Chhattisgarh have also come to Raipur for organizing the competition.
