Mumbai, Chandramohan Passed Away: South's most talented actor and comedian Mallampalli Chandra Mohan passed away today. He was 82 years old. He breathed his last at 9.45 am today in a private hospital in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Chandra Mohan was undergoing treatment for heart related diseases. He had received many awards including the highest honor of Tamil Nadu. He started his career with the film 'Rangula Ratnam' in 1966 and after that he never looked back. He also worked with actresses like Sridevi, Jayaprada, Jayasudha.

Chandra Mohan is survived by his wife and 2 daughters. He is the cousin of veteran filmmaker K Vishwanath. Chandramohan's last rites will be performed on Monday i.e. 13th November. There is a wave of mourning in Tollywood on the sudden demise of the talented actor. Chandra Mohan has worked with every superstar of South.

Chandra Mohan received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for 'Padaharela Vayasu'

Chandra Mohan's real name, born on 23 May 1943, was Chandrashekhar Rao Mallampalli. He was born in Pamidimukkula village of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Chandra Mohan won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his excellent performance in the 1979 film 'Padaharela Vayasu'. He won the Nandi Award for 'Chandamama Rave' in 1987.
