Saharanpur, The first convocation ceremony of Maa Shakumberi University was organized with great simplicity and enthusiasm in the Janmanch Auditorium. Chancellor and Governor Anandiben Patel today called upon the talented students who received medals, degrees and distinction certificates to make their families happy and the nation proud with their work. He said that it is the duty of all of us to do our best to put India back on the path of world leader. There is a need that the willpower which is being expressed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, similarly, resolutions play a role in the accomplishment of tasks. In this regard, the role of India's youth and thinkers is most important.
Although 12755 students of this university have been admitted in various degrees, but today in the convocation ceremony, a total of 49 students have been awarded gold medals, of which 19 are boys and 30 are girls. The Governor distributed five Anganwadi kits given by the university. Fruits, sweets and 200 books were presented by Raj Bhavan to 30 students of primary schools. Governor Anandiben Patel laid great emphasis on two things on this occasion. One is that the delivery of all pregnant women should be done compulsorily in government hospitals only. So that accurate information can be obtained about the health of the children born. This is the right time when children's disorders can be detected on time and their timely treatment is possible. Such as eyesight, ability to hear and speak or any other kind of disability. Governor Anandiben Patel described the role of Anganwadi workers as very important. He especially asked Vice Chancellor Professor Hriday Shankar Singh and District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh to pay serious attention to both these matters and also inform them about the work done. She herself takes interest in this matter as Chief Minister of Gujarat and as Governor.
Vice Chancellor Dr. HS Singh congratulated the students and on completion of initiation demanded from them as Guru Dakshina that they should always avoid greed and pride and be dutiful,

He recited these couplets of Kabir Das: The sun has darkened while watching, Guru Gyan has become sad, Suma has gone from excessive greed to devotion, pride has gone. Chief Guest Padmashree Yogacharya Swami Bharat Bhushan blessed the bright future of the students earning the degrees today and expressed hope that these graduates will prove to be the flag bearers of the fame and glory of this University and the great Guru tradition of India. MP Pradeep Chaudhary, Minister of State Jaswant Saini, Kunwar Brijesh, District Panchayat President Mangeram Chaudhary, Mayor Dr. Ajay Singh, Former Mayor Dr. Sanjeev Walia, MLA Kirat Singh, Devendra Nim, District Magistrate Dinesh Chandra Singh, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada were present at the ceremony. Many prominent dignitaries were present.
