Yogi Adityanath Hits Back at the Opposition

Responding to opposition allegations on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the government had made it clear from day one that an impartial investigation would be conducted and the truth would be fully revealed.

The Chief Minister said that necessary action was initiated as soon as the preliminary report from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) was received. He appealed to opposition parties not to play with the faith of crores of Ram devotees and urged anyone possessing concrete evidence to present it before the SIT.

Yogi Adityanath asserted that the government would not spare any guilty party, but added that hurting public sentiment by making allegations without facts is inappropriate. Invoking the  Maryada  (dignity and propriety) of Lord Ram, he advised everyone to make statements with restraint and responsibility.

Kejriwal Calls Alleged Theft of Offerings a 'Great Sin'

Meanwhile, former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal also reacted to the matter. After offering prayers and seeking blessings from Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, he stated that the alleged irregularities concerning temple offerings constitute a very serious issue and demanded an impartial investigation. Speaking to reporters, he stated that if the offerings have indeed been stolen, it constitutes a "heinous sin," and efforts should not be made to shield high-ranking officials by taking action only against low-level employees.

Kejriwal said he has prayed to Lord Ram that anyone involved in such an act receives the severest possible punishment. He also reiterated his demand for a fair and transparent investigation.

Awaiting the Conclusion of the Investigation

An SIT investigation into the Ram Mandir offerings controversy is underway, with statements emerging from various quarters. As of now, no individual has been declared guilty by investigative agencies or the courts. It is essential to distinguish between allegations and proven facts, as the final conclusions will only be known once the investigation and judicial processes are complete.
