Jhabua, under the adulteration-free campaign, the team formed by Collector Ms. Tanvi Hooda took action in Jhabua city on 23 February 2024 and seized 10 domestic cylinders and samples of three food items were also taken along with high value under the Legal Metrology Act. But if someone is found selling milk, a case has been registered. In the city, the team purchased a bag of milk from Hotel Jai Ambe from Jhabua's bus stand, on which the MRP price was marked as ₹ 55. A case was registered against the seller for selling the milk bag for ₹ 62. At the same hotel, a domestic gas cylinder was purchased. In case the cylinder was found to be in use, the case was registered.
A total of 10 domestic gas cylinders have been seized by the team from Joshi Restaurant located at Rajgarh Naka, Bhilistan Hotel near Bhandari Petrol Pump intersection, Shiv Restaurant near Bhandari Petrol Pump, Shriram Hotel and Aarti Hotel located at Gadia Colony intersection. The Food Safety Officer in the team took action and took samples of food coloring, gram flour and almond shake for testing and in case of expiry Sohan Papdi and Sev Namkeen were found at Hotel Jai Ambe located at the bus stand, about 10 kg of food items were seized on the spot. Joint action of Food Safety, Weights and Measures Department and Food Department in Thandla

Under the campaign to get rid of adulteration in Madhya Pradesh, as per the instructions of Collector Ms. Tanvi Hooda, joint action was taken in Thandla by officials of Weights and Measures Department, Food Safety Department and Food Civil and Supplies Department in Jhabua. During this time, when the weighing inspector found the Al Anwar Hardware By Pass Road Thandla electronic weigh scale not verified, the weigh scale was confiscated and a case was registered. The Food Safety Officer inspected hotels and grocery shops like Hotel Kanishk Veg, Non Veg Dhaba, Dilip Dhaba Kakanwani Bypass, Hotel Lazeez Kushalgarh Road, Hotel New Bhagyodaya Khavasa Road Chainpuri, Dhanpal Kirana Khavasa Road Chainpuri, Madhav Kirana Store Khavasa Road Chainpuri etc. Samples of cold drinks, energy drinks and apple have been taken for testing. Also, on the spot tests of saccharin and food color were conducted on a total of 32 food items by the division level food testing laboratory.
The team's work will continue as a continuous campaign in the district. Food Safety Officer Mr. Rahul Singh Alawa, Weights and Measures Inspector Mr. Kapil Kadam, Junior Supply Officer Jhabua Mr. Sandeep Rathore, Labor Assistant Mr. Sanjay Panchal and Food Civil Supplies Department Mr. Vijay Chauhan Jhabua were present in the joint team.
