Burning of effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhkarna took place at Devikund Ground in Deoband

Deoband (Saharanpur), Dussehra festival, a symbol of victory of good over evil, was celebrated with great pomp in Deoband city by Shri Rama Mandal Seva Trust. In the Dussehra festival organized by Shri Rama Mandal Seva Trust, effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhkarna were burnt late last evening. State Minister Kunwar Brijesh Singh also participated in the program. Earlier, the armies of Ram and Ravana reached Devikund Ground in the city. Mukutdhari Hanuman also reached there and took blessings of Lord Ram. On this occasion, State Minister Kunwar Brijesh Singh congratulated Vijayadashami and said that this festival of faith and enthusiasm should bring success, prosperity and happiness to all. The festival inspires to serve the needy, strengthen mutual love and brotherhood.
The stage was jointly inaugurated by Municipal Chairman Vipin Garg and Councilor Ankit Rana. Special guests were Yogendra Goyal, Ashutosh Gupta, Ishan Gaur, Ajay Garg. The program was presided over by Rakesh Singhal and conducted by Devidayal Sharma. Vishal Garg, Ritesh Bansal, Anuj Agarwal, Amit Garg, Vipin Tyagi, Lokesh Tyagi, Sanjay Singhal, Paras Singhal etc. were present in the program.
