Shajapur, a case has come to light of a youth being brutally murdered by slitting his throat and throwing his body in the bushes. Taking the incident seriously, the Superintendent of Police has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 to the person who gives clues about the murderer. According to the information received, on the night of Friday, 27 July 2024, the body of Abrar, son of Sardar Khan, age 35, resident of Maniharwadi, was found near Chillar Dam on Village Sapakheda Road, about 03 km from Shajapur district headquarters. The throat of the youth was cut with a sharp weapon, on which the police got the post-mortem of the body done. At the same time, due to the case being suspicious, the police have registered a case number 37/2024 section 194 BNSS in the police station Kotwali and have sent different teams for investigation. Also, Superintendent of Police Yashpal Singh Rajput has announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for the arrest of the accused in the above incident.
