On Tuesday, many hospitals in Delhi received bomb threats
On Tuesday (August 20), many hospitals including AIIMS and Safdarjung and a mall in Delhi received bomb threat emails. According to the police, the email had a list of about 50 government and private hospitals including AIIMS, Safdarjung, Apollo, Moolchand, Max and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. The email sent at 12:04 pm reads, "We have planted many explosives inside your building. These have been kept in a black bag. The bomb is going to explode in a few hours. You will be covered in blood, none of you deserve to live. Everyone present in the building will lose their life. Today will be your last day on earth.'' The email claimed that "a group called 'Court' is behind this massacre." It said, "We will not stop spreading terror. Give the name of the group to news organizations." A police officer said that the pattern of these threatening emails is similar to the earlier emails sent to hospitals, schools, universities and other government buildings in which the sender did not mention the date in the email.
