Champaran, Bihar: Criminals' rampage continues unabated. People are being killed in the state every day. In this episode, a fresh case is coming out from West Champaran. Where the children's dispute escalated so much that the elders clashed with each other. After this, a person was killed by cutting with a sharp weapon. This incident is from Parsa Dhangartoli Ward No. 12 of Lauriya.
According to the information, a labourer named Vinod Dhangar (46) was killed by cutting with an axe and Vinod died at 2 am during treatment in GMCH. At present, the police has started investigating the case. The accused in this case are absconding. The police have claimed to have conducted raids to arrest them. In this case, Inspector Ram Kumar Paswan, in-charge of GMCH Hospital Police Station, said that the post-mortem of Vinod Dhangar's body has been done. According to the witnesses, he died due to assault. The statement of the family members will be recorded and sent to Lauriya police for action.
On the other hand, deceased Vinod Dhangar's brother-in-law Vilas Mahato said that his niece Bijli Kumari (10) was playing with her neighbor's children. During the play, a minor dispute took place between Bijli Kumari and other children. Regarding this, at 7 pm, Asharfi Mahato, Dinesh Mahato and Rambabu Mahato attacked with sharp weapons.
After that, all the accused together started beating Vinod Dhangar. After that, Vinod was dragged out of the door and hit on the head with an axe, seriously injuring him. He fell down there injured. When the villagers ran after hearing the noise, the attackers fled from there. The family took Vinod Dhangar to Lauriya Referral Hospital, from where he was referred to Bettiah after first aid. Vinod was brought to GMCH at 9 pm. Vinod died there at around 2 am.
