BJP expels Jeetu Yadav from the party
Resignation sent on WhatsApp not accepted
Indore, BJP organization took seriously the vandalism of BJP councilor Kamlesh Kalra's house and the misbehavior with his son in Indore and BJP has expelled Indore BJP councilor and MIC member Jeetu Yadav from the primary membership of BJP for six years.
Yadav had sent his resignation to BJP state president VD Sharma on WhatsApp in the morning, but it was not accepted. After this, orders for his expulsion were issued by the state BJP. This has been confirmed by BJP state in-charge Bhagwan Das Sabnani. He sent a letter to BJP city president Gaurav Randive.
In which it was written that Ward 24 councilor Jeetu Yadav had a dispute with a party councilor and then committed an indecent act. This has tarnished the image of the party. His act comes under the purview of indiscipline. For this reason, Yadav is expelled from the primary membership of BJP for six years by BJP state president VD Sharma.
The party had to take a decision after pressure from all sides
The dispute between the two councillors was going on for five days and there were protests from both communities, but the Yadav camp made a video of Kalra's minor son being stripped naked viral on social media. This sent a wrong message about the BJP in the city.
The Chief Minister took the matter seriously and gave a free hand to the police. A day after the attack, the police arrested five accused. After this, there was pressure from all sides on the BJP officials to expel Yadav from the party. As soon as Yadav got a hint of this, he resigned on Saturday morning, but the BJP declared it invalid and expelled him for six years.
The post of councillor will remain
Jitu has won the municipal corporation election. Therefore, the post of councillor will remain intact. If a demand arises to disqualify Jitu from the post of councillor, then his post of councillor can also be in danger. Now Jitu cannot sit with the BJP camp in the municipal corporation conference.
